The Blue Bell is a perfect location for a Wedding Reception! Set in an idylic country village, not only does it have a very large beer garden that can seat over 100 people, but it also has a private dining room seating approximately 25, the main pub area and an old fashioned snug room seat approximatley 75 people. This gives you many different options for hosting your special day.

The Blue Bell can be a blank canvas for your Wedding Reception. We have an experienced wedding planner on site who can help organise your day and point you in the right direction for local suppliers, from florists to live music, BUT the main thing is it is your day and we like to offer you the flexibility to do things your way. This means each Wedding we have at The Blue Bell is different and unique to you!

Fun in the Sun Summer Wedding Reception

Arrive to a drinks reception of champagne and Pimms & Lemondade, served outside in the spacious beer garden. Guests enjoy a relaxed Hog Roast or BBQ Wedding Breakfast with home made apple sauce from the tree's in the garden, soft fresh baps and a variety of delicious side dishes. Bunting decorates the beer garden and people dance to the live band that is set up on the large decking area and play the giant outdoor games that have been set up.

Wonderful Winter Wedding Reception

Arrive to a drinks reception of aromatic mulled wine to warm guests and get the party started inside the cosy atmosphere of the pub. Guests can gather around the crackling wood fire and spread into all areas that the pub has to offer. Sit down to an a la carte Wedding Breakfast that is a menu consisting of your favourite dishes concocted by the Bride and Groom and The Blue Bell Head Chef. After your meal, tables are rearranged and a dance floor appears where some guests are dancing to their favourite songs the DJ is playing. Other guests can be found playing at the casino table and feasting on the chocolate fountain that has been set up in the snug!
